Marina Antunes [Celluloid 12.14.17] Canada scifi action

What happens when you let a group of stunt guys make a movie? If you've got big names attached, you end up with something like John Wick but if you're not that fortunate, you settle for a smaller budget and pack as many stunts as you can into it and out comes something that looks a little like Kill Order.

The movie, directed by James Mark who has an extensive resume covering all types of stunt work, stars Chris Mark, a stunt performer and coordinator in his own right, as David, a student who is secretly suffering from memories of a terrible past.

When a group of armed men break into his classroom and try to take him, he taps into skills and power he didn't know he possessed, fights the bad guys off and then goes on the run, along the way trying to figure out what happened to him.

It's pretty straight forward b-movie plot machinations but man, the action sequences here look killer and as good as anything we've seen of late.

It'll be interesting to see if the movie can manage the pace the trailer suggests. We'll have to wait a little while to find out. Kill Order will be available on digital HD and DVD February 6, 2018.

In the meantime, we have an exclusive first look some images from the movie below.

Kinda sorta almost reminds me of Killshot with Iko Uwais, except with more glowy eyes and hands and feet.
