Christopher Webster [Celluloid 06.30.16] post apocalyptic horror thriller

Viral is a new, close quarters PA thriller co-directed by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, who are probably most famous for their "documentary" Catfish which launched their careers.

In the film, a virus infects a small suburb neighborhood and two sisters need to make a difficult choice to survive.

Teenaged sisters Emma (Sofia Black-D’Elia) and Stacey (Analeigh Tipton) live a normal life, until their small suburban neighborhood is stricken with a mysterious parasitic virus. As the disease rapidly spreads throughout the town, the two band together to barricade themselves from infection. But it may already be too late – when the virus enters their home, the sisters are faced with an impossible choice: protect each other, or survive the virus.

VIRAL stars Sofia Black-D'Elia (Project Almanac), Analeigh Tipton (Lucy), Travis Tope (Independence Day: Resurgence), and Michael Kelly (The Adjustment Bureau).

Viral will be released in select theares and on VOD JULY 29, 2016.
