Holy shit. A new 10-part sci-fi anthology series called Electric Dreams: The World of Philip K. Dick is coming from the creators Ronald D. Moore (Battlestar Galactica) and Michael Dinner (Justified) with Breaking Bad star, Bryan Cranston on to star.

Electric Dreams will celebrate the prized and beleaguered sci-fi novelist’s work with episode being developed as a standalone drama.

“This is an electric dream come true,” said Cranston in a statement. “We are so thrilled to be able to explore and expand upon the evergreen themes found in the incredible work of this literary master.”

One can't help but wonder if the show's writers will be mining Dick's giant back catalogue of short fiction for the show, or whether they will mine his novel ideas for Black Mirror-esque hour longs.

The series was commissioned for Channel 4 where it will premiere and then be distributed internationally by Sony Pictures Television.

Such awesome news. I love it.
