John Connor [Celluloid 02.25.16] post apocalyptic scifi action thriller dystopic

From director William L. Stewart, whose post-apocalyptic, space-faring horror indie The Men Who Fell is STILL not out on DVD domestically, is in post on a new flick called Kill Box. Let's hope this one actually gets out there.

Yes this is indie, but like The Men Who Fell there is a tremendous amount of skill on display. From the first person PV intensity to the robot FX, there's some good stuff here that makes me excited to see the final flick.

Synopsis:
In a dystopian near future, a corporate heist goes wrong and the team members struggle to survive a desperate escape through the apocalyptic sprawl with their stolen prize, a weapon of unspeakable power.

As they navigate the the urban wasteland, they must contend with barbaric gangs, corporate death squads and the terrifying truth about the weapon they have stolen.

Kill Box stars Teddy Cañez, Ben Naasz and Jennifer Sydney.
