John Connor [Celluloid 02.18.16] Australia post apocalyptic scifi thriller

From Canberra, Australia, home of the desert PA flick, comes Blue World Order, an independent sci-fi thriller starring none other than B movie star Billy Zane.

Shot on a budget by co-directors Dallas Bland and Ché Baker, the film is none-the-less ambitious in its scope with sweeping vistas, mutants, lazer guns and monsters galore.

After a nuclear war decimated the northern hemisphere, the surviving population in the south become desperate and violent competing for scarce resources. Society crumbles and an infectious bacteria threatens to destroy those who remain.
In an attempt to rebuild civilization, a self appointed government called 'The ORDER' distributed an immunization to the bacteria, via a massive Electro-Macnetic Pulse (EMP). Secretly, the Order also delivered a bio-tech virus through the EMP, giving them the power to control the population.
One man remains immune to the Order's virus - Jake Slater. Now Jake scavenges the wasteland searching for a way to keep his unconscious daughter alive, unaware she is the last child on Earth, and the key to the survival of mankind.

Blue World Order stars Billy Zane, Bruce Spence, Kendra Appleton, Stephen Hunter, Jack Thompson and Jake Ryan.

Thanks for the source.

I think this film looks interesting. But, did they take on too many genres (thriller, action, martial arts, post-apocalyptic)? We'll see.

yeah the kung fu was where I turned off on this trailer, too many ideas thrown in for the sake of it. I Like the post apocalyptic delorean though.
