Christopher Webster [Celluloid 09.01.15] scifi thriller drama dystopic

From writer Nathan Parker, who blasted onto the scene as the writer of Duncan Jones' MOON (review), comes a new dystopian vision called Equals. Sounding eerily similar to the story of 1984, The film stars everyone's favorite War Boy Nicholas Hoult, and everyone's favourite Twilight, Kristen Stewart, as would-be lovers in a future where falling in love is a no-no.

The film is a Scott Free production, so Ridley Scott presides as an executive producer on the project directed by Like Crazy's Drake Doremus.

Official Synopsis:
A futuristic love story set in a world where emotions have been eradicated.

Some stills have emerged from the film and the design seems impeccable.

Stay tuned for trailers as the film is about to hit the Venice Film Festival.
