The first teaser trailer for Some Kind of Hate, the highly anticipated first feature from Adam Egypt Mortimer, has dropped and it looks intense.

The film, which the director calls a "feminist slasher movie" will premiere at the Stanley Film Festival in May.

The film centers on a teenage boy (Ronen Rubinstein) tormented by his schoolmates who resurrects Moira (Sierra McCormick), a girl who was bullied to the point of suicide. Both with his sympathy and, eventually, without it, Moira wreaks slasher-style vengeance on their persecutors.

The film was co-written with Brian DeLeeuw and the screenwriters have said they were inspired equally by Clive Barker and the early work of Adam Wingard and Simon Barrett, particularly the film A Horrible Way to Die.
