I was lukewarm on the first trailer for José Padilha's Robocop remake, but I must admit that this new trailer, which offers up just as much action and a tiny bit of additional story, has eased some of the tension.
It's still not really clear if Padilha's movie will take itself far too seriously but the trailer suggests that there is a little social commentary to go along with a few zingers (I like the "bad cop Robocop bit" and you know that with Samuel L. Jackson there will be at least a few more).
Robocop opens February 12, 2014.

It still looks like a cheap made for dvd release... Shame really, I'll just watch the original instead.
