UPDATE: I seems the pilot is not available until Friday, April 19. Let us know what you thought once you check it out!
A few weeks back we had a look at the first image from the proposed "Zombieland" TV show with word that the first episode would land online in a short while and that if enough people watched the thing, the show would go to series.
The pilot, directed by Tucker and Dale Vs. Evil's Eli Craig and written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick who penned the original Zombieland is now streaming for free at Amazon, though note that the video seems to be stalling for me so it may not be working for everyone. Might be a good thing too because judging from the trailer which has also been released, this looks painful and not in a good way.
Let us know if you manage to check out the pilot. I'm curious to know if it's an improvement on the trailer.

Yeah, it does not work for me either. It could be a Canadian thing.

Looks like complete crap. I'll reserve judgement, but for now I'm utterly disappointed.

looks like it's not actually out yet, lots of reviews on the amazon page confirming all you get is a "coming soon" message...

Epic fail, amazon own imdb so I think it needs to be given an 1/10 there to set the record straight

I will agree with the others here, it looks terrible. Not so much in the "look" dept, the fx are fine, but more in the "entire concept" arena.

Bummer. Hey now that I can comment, whay are the comments on all the other psots usually closed? I miss having them...

I tried watching this on my Roku and on my PC and no dice. If Amazon is going to roll out a new product learn how to stream. Judging by the comments I'm not the only camper having an issue streaming this. BTW Nice to have the comments back (finally)

Pretty sure it's live to watch now... finally.

Well I saw it more out of curiosity than anything. It didn't really float my boat. I found the original entertaining but it's something I would go out of my way to see again. All the product placement bugged me.
