Details have emerged for a new thriller called Windows which will be the first English language film from Timecrimes and Extraterrestrial director/writer Nacho Vigalondo.

Part of Spanish production company, Apaches' first slate, Windows is said to have started off as an experimental movie along the lines of "Paranormal Activity" and "Cloverfield," but has since ballooned into a more commercial endeavor.

The film is being described by producers as "a tense, fast-paced thriller with drops of humor and horror, about the world of the Web, which has made prisoners of us all."

"Windows" is produced by Apaches and Antena 3 Films and will be sold internationally by Wild Bunch.

Windows is currently casting and is budgeted at around $4 million which is ambitious for the Spanish production house.
