Christopher Webster [Celluloid 08.03.11] movie trailer thriller

It's a great actor that can go from hobo to rich beer tycoon in the blink of an eye. Rutger Hauer plays famous beer magnate Freddy Heineken whose kidnapping was big news in the 80s.

"The Heineken Kidnapping is based on the kidnapping of beer tycoon Freddy Heineken that hit the news in the Netherlands and abroad in the eighties of the last century. The film exceeds the well known story of the kidnap and goes on to tell the story of Alfred Heineken's revenge, which culminates in a chase of the kidnappers across the world. Focusing on the psychological power struggle between the successful and charismatic beer brewer and a ruthless young criminal with a grudge"

The film is seeing release in the Netherlands in October, so here's hoping it's good and we get to see it here soon as well.

Check out the film's teaser trailer after the break.

I think I speak for all of us when I say I'm craving a beer right now.

The acting looks decent asfar as i can judge from the trailer. Music might be a bit overkill, but creates tension. Visually it looks much better then DE BENDE VAN OSS that will open de Nederlands Film Festival in September.

I dont see how you can make a judgement about the "bad acting" based on that short trailer. It may be terrible but its hard to tell from the trailer.
