The Adjustment Bureau - is charming before its thrilling and a little light in terms of the scifi elements, but it's a well paced little thriller with a believable love story made possible by the acting chops of Matt Damon and Emily Blunt. You can read my review here.

The Island [Blu-ray] - I love this movie. Love it. That's right, so what? Yeah it's boneheaded in parts and the extended freeway chase that Bay obviously tacked on is a slog to get through, but it's just such a fun concept that I can't help but get caught up in it every time I watch it. This is THX-1138 by way of The Sixth Day. Of course the production was sued by the creators of the 80s movie Parts: The Clonus Horror, but who cares? The Island isn't original, but it's fun.

The Rig - The Rig is a horror flick about a small but experienced crew who are left behind settles in to ride out a severe storm on an oil rig. When one of them goes missing they slowly realize a deadly creature is stalking the crew, eliminating them one by one. So I'm thinking Alien on an oil rig. Good enough for me.

Unknown – is not nearly as fun as Taken, but the sustained mystery is fun and there are a few nifty twists at the end. Liam Neeson is good as always and Diane Kruger provides some much needed chemistry since January Jones is about as cold as a dead fish, but you can’t help but feel this could have been a little more thrilling.
