Christopher Webster [Celluloid 02.10.11] movie trailer news thriller

Love these one room thrillers... Elevator is written and produced by Marc Rosenberg and directed by Stig Svendsen. It is a new indie thriller co-produced between the USA and Norway - with the Norwegian side including one of the producers of Dead Snow - with the film shot in LA with all post work done in Norway.

According to Twitch, the film is about a group of people who get stuck in an elevator and told there's a bomb on board.

Not sure of the point of this film. Unless theres a supernatural ending (making it a complete rip-off of that other film) then you're basically watching torture porn, knowing too well that everyone in that lift derserves to die/ 'is' going to die. It's just a matter of when and how. So, what is the point exactly?

How does G_D know that everyone in the lift deserves to die or is going to die, on the basis of the trailer? Isn't that what makes the film suspenseful-- watching the characters try to survive, and seeing if they can get out of the elevator alive? I can't wait to see it.
