This sounds and looks like a cross between 12 Monkeys and Jacobs's Ladder and the heavy use of stock footage and handheld camera work in the trailer not only provides a serious amount of paranoia, but also a sense of urgency described in the synopsis. It's apparently pre-apocalyptic and looks stunning.
A man races through the city at night narrating the events that led to the present apocalypse and trying to evade the disease he believes is the cause of it all. A disease that, in its current mutation, causes heads to explode.

I watched this trailer with the sound turned down and had CAKE going the distance playing. Perfect match to the trailer. This looks awesome. Doubt I ever see it anywhere though.

I hope this is a proper Cronenberg homage. Not enough movies today use stock footage. I want to see more of this.
