After Harmony Korine's horrendous Trash Humpers which was a pretentious and forced piece of garbage, I'm a bit hesitant posting this, but considering I loved Kids (which he wrote) and Gummo (oh wait, nothing good anytime recent!) I'm going to going to have to keep giving him the benefit of the doubt. This short film will premier on both the IFC and Sundance channels this September and revolves around "girls who sleep in abandoned cars and set things on fire. It’s about the great things in life- stars in the sky and lots of malt liquor."

So go ahead and make fun.

Whoa... wait a minute. Here's an excerpt from your own review of Trash Humpers on this very site:

"Rating: 8.8 out of 10

Right. Trash Humpers is a snapped work of brilliance and you will either be blown away or absolutely hate it. For me, the earth moved."

The fact that you liked it then was bad enough, but to so obviously contradict yourself now, seems to further trash your credibility.

Ahh... and so it was. My mistake... it was posted under your tag and I neglected to notice the reviewer title. I'll shut my pie hole now.

where do i start? I too enjoyed "kids" but this looks even more depressing and I wonder how this was ever filmed (apparently in the HOOD for real!) without the crew getting robbed or contracting HIV from one of the cast members? this is what i think the apocalypse may really look like. scary shit!
