2. Update on RZA's IRON FIST!

If you're a regular reader you probably know I'm a huge Wu-Tang fan and when news of RZA doing a kung-fu flick came out a while ago, I was more then excited. Reportedly, he's been mentored by Tarantino and RZA and Eli Roth are currently working on the script, which has no production date attached yet. Roth further had this to say: "He's got this whole movie figured out. But it's his own universe, his own world. It's got hip-hop mixed in with kung fu; it's got a multiracial cast; he's got people lined up and all of these martial-arts stars and choreographers he's already talked to about it. It's really going to be spectacular." Bring it on! via scifiwire

3. Universal developing Dark Horse scifi property FEAR AGENT

Word is Universal is in development on this former Image Comics property but no further information beyond that. "Fear Agent is about a colorful, borderline alcoholic astronaut named Heath Huston, a Texan who works as a so-called fear agent, the last of a dwindling breed of spacemen whose mission it is to fight threats to the planet Earth, which is partly destroyed during the course of the series. The property emphasizes a kind of in-your-face adventure as Huston hops around the galaxy fighting various alien species and threats." via THR

4. Anthony DiBlasi adapting Clive Barker's The Damnation Game

Word via Fangoria is that DiBlasi, whose Barker adaptation dread just had it's world premier, is writing an adaptation of The Damnation Game. Story follows a gambling addict and ex-con who is hired as the bodyguard of one of the world’s wealthiest men, only to find that his employer has made a Faustian deal with a devilish figure named Mamoulian. No word on whether he will direct, but he'll be helming ANOTHER Barker film, Pig Blood Blues, later this year!

Sweet, Fear Agent is one of my favourite comics. It sucks that the writer is ending it all of a sudden. It has the possibility of being a fantastic movie if they keep it faithful.
