This is shaping up like a handful of old-school 80s PA flicks (Def-Con 4 anyone?). Courtesy of USA Today comes 5 new stills that, while not that revealing, we know you'll want to see. In our last post there was mention of the "sun exploding" and very few pockets of civilization left.. in fact, Denzel doesn't see anyone for the first 10 minutes of the film (now that piques my interest).The film stars Denzel Washington, Gary Oldman, Ray Stevenson, and Mila Kunis. Now where's the bloody trailer?!

In a post-apocalyptic America where the once-picturesque countryside has become a desolate and violent wasteland, one man (Denzel Washington) fights to protect that sacred tome that could hold the key to the survival of the human race.

Yay! This looks good!-So far that is ;) I hope it doesn't turn out to be a bloated block buster wannabe like The Postman. I did think The Postman was okay though, despite it's week spots.

I have a few things to say about Eli though:
1. Why does Denzel's outfit look so clean?? Sorry-maybe I'm just a detail-freak, but still! If someone would be living a pa U.S., their shirt would have at least some stains. He does have the gruffy homeless look down pretty good though, imo.
Though it just confuses me. Maybe the shirt and coat are given to him by new people he meets, idk for sure, be eh. We'll just wait and see I guess. The looks of it so far reminds me slightly of a big budget version of the Jeremaih series.
Jeez...one I start saying something, I can't stop.....>_<
