Christopher Webster [Celluloid 02.27.09] movie trailer news horror

If you play Metallica backwards can you hear the voice of the devil? Did John Lennon really chant "I buried Paul" on Sgt. Pepper's lonely Hearts Club Band? Rock and Roll is full of legends about voices on recordings and it's these myths that Reverb director Eitan Arrusi used to springboard his new horror film.

A struggling rock musician (Gregory) wants to get his career back on track, so he locks himself and his band in a recording studio overnight to come up with new music. In this process the group ends up sampling an old recording with an ominous voice hidden inside the track. As more frightening events occur, the band try to unravel the truth behind the hidden plea on the record leading to a life or death battle with evil.

Reverb opens in select cinema's in Britain on Friday March 6 so check your local listings if you're in the UK. For more information on Reverb check out the film's official website. Trailer after the break.
