We reported on the fantastic looking Parasomnia back in April, specifically commenting on the mechanical puppetry shown in the trailer, and while we still don't know when this is getting a release, a new trailer dropped which further details the beautiful design in the film. Really, the production values on this one are top notch which is odd considering writer/director William Malone has done nothing more then direct low-end films like Feardotcom and House on Haunted Hill. Parasomnia is billed as a "dark fairy tale", and here's the breakdown: "In Parasomnia, a stylish horror/thriller from director William Malone ("House on Haunted Hill," "Masters of Horror,") Laura Baxter is a young woman, literally a "sleeping beauty," who suffers from a medical condition called "parasomnia." A childhood accident victim, she is actually sleeping her life away, awakening briefly on rare occasions. Art student Danny Sloan falls in love with her, unaware that her hospital neighbor, a terrifying mass murderer and mesmerist named Byron Volpe has other, more sinister plans. Looks like a future cult classic. I have to admit though, I did enjoy the House on haunted hill remake.

Can't wait for the release. If the movie is anything like the new trailer then watch out. WOW!!
