quietearth [Celluloid 02.27.08] zombies movie news horror



News of this flick has been floating around for two years now, with the crew running into many problems, specifically money and having to buy the rights to the film back, but after checking the website last night, I saw a post from early February saying they're working on getting ready and have gotten some WWII set gear! For those of you who missed it, the zombie vision presented in this film is more then abnormal, it's like Lynch crossed with the aliens in Dark City and it will make you salivate. "In the final of the World Championship Soccer Games, Holland and Germany are going to war. A group of friends tries to get away from the nationwide frenzy, but traveling to a North Sea island they wind up in situations far, far worse." Holy hell, I just found out about this, and I am hooked! Damn shame they canned it. Oh well, Army of Frankestien sounds cooler anyways.
