Sliver (Jonathan Badeen)

Set 50 years after the start of the zombie holocaust, the destruction is pretty much complete. Daily life is a fight for survival for the remaining bands of humans, and both men and women are trained in every type of combat imaginable from very young.

Now and then the soldier would free some human slaves from the zombies. These were people who had been raised and controlled their whole lives, who couldn't even speak, until they were ready to be eaten. Brian is captured by some of these zombies, which in this movie have a little bit of smarts and can run, and is taken to one of these zombie farms.

The Story:
The zombies are taking a load of human females (how dehumanizing is that) which are all roped together to some unknown point when brothers David and Brian, who are out on patrol, happen upon them. They clean up the zombie mess producing this nice shot below, which they themselves point out, and take the females, still roped, back to basecamp. Unfortunately these women have been raised and bred as cattle for the zombies to feed on, and they don't know how to even speak. Fortunately, our best friends (us!) have a whole re-education system for them.

During the middle of the night, the camp is attacked by zombies, and many are killed. David is captured and brought to the zombie farm, but he know's better then to let them hear him speak. They stick him in a cell with Star who was also captured and I guess the point of that plan is for breeding. The General and his brother Brian are distraught over this, and hatch up a plan to get him back. Little do they know there is more to this zombie farm then meets the eye.

The Rating:
The storyline, idea, and zombie effects were pretty good, what really lowered the rating was the acting and the implementation. There didn't seem to be any emotion in the characters, and the dialogue was not very convincing. That said this gets a 5 out of 10, and if you are a PA or zombie fan, you won't want to miss this.

I love zombie films, but this one sucks. The only good scene was when the general came at the door with transparent shirt and we can see her niples.

I just stumbled upon this site while google image searching for a picture of the scene 'mexican guy' was talking about. I'm a huge fan of the PA/Zombie genre, gonna look around this site a little more after i finish this review.

As bad as some aspects of this movie were you have to give them props on the original story. I have to agree with the original review, the main problem with this movie was the acting, it's almost as if the direct told the actors not to emote, I'd probably say 5 of 10 also.

The Generals head light scene saved the movie for me :)

kristi rocks!!!!!!

Ok, Well Kristi Pearce was the only saving grace for this movie as her acting was up to par, can't say much for the rest, aside from slither with his eccentric personality. This however is not the worst zombie movie I've seen, Platoon of the Dead is pretty damn hard to beat in crappiness for low budget zombie movies. All said, I would give this movie 3 stars out of 10, and again only primarily because of Kristi Pearce's acting and nipple scene, yup, nice areolas.
