John Connor [Celluloid 08.30.18] action thriller



Action thriller Jet Trash is coming to home entertainment platforms this September. This dramatic title, starring Sofia Boutella (The Mummy,) and Robert Sheehan (Geostorm), has already had a successful limited theatrical run, playing in seventeen cities.

The film also stars Craig Parkinson (Watership Down), Osy Ikhile (Mission Impossible 5) and Jasper Paakkonen. And, the film involves two gangsters on the run. They flee England for India, only to find the same problems hounding them, on the other side of the world. The official home release details, for Jet Trash, are hosted here.

Based on Simon Lewis’ novel "Go" and directed by Charles Henri Belleville, the story for Jet Trash has been described as “bold” (LA Times). But, for Lee (Sheehan) and Sol (Ikhile), a life of partying of India can last for only so long. They get back into their old criminal trade, until they meet Vix (Boutella) - a friend from Lee’s past. Now, Lee and Sol must face their former lives as gangster close in all around them!


Synopsis:
Two friends cross a London gangster forcing them to flee England. Lee and Sol are hiding out on a beach in Southern India living a slacker life of sex, drugs and parties. Trouble comes to paradise when Vix, a beautiful girl from Lee’s past, turns up. Things get worse when the gang find themselves up against crooked cops, local hoodlums, gangsters…. and their past. How far do you have to go to get away?


Jet Trash is slated for both a release on DVD and Digital, through Indican Pictures. In the vein of Tony Scott’s True Romance (1993), this action thriller is set to reach a wider audience on these home entertainment platforms, this September 4th!
