Marina Antunes [Celluloid 02.24.17] scifi horror

I realize this has been floating around the web for a few days but as you may have noticed from the lack of posting this last week, it's been a busy couple of days in the QE virtual office. Were this any other project, I'd likely let it slide but we're talking about a new Alien movie so... we'll make an exception.

Conceived by Ridley Scott and directed by Luke Scott (of Morgan fame (review)), this bit of marketing for Alien: Covenant is a short film titled "Prologue: Last Supper" which features the cast of the upcoming film celebrating their last dinner before going into cryosleep.

As the prologue moniker suggests, this is a pre-cursor to the movie which focuses on the crew of the Covenant, a colonization ship headed to a remote planet to form a new human settlement.

This is our first good look at the cast which includes Michael Fassbender returning as David and Noomi Rapace reprising her role as Elizabeth Shaw and introducing James Franco as the ship's captain, Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Danny McBride, Callie Hernandez and a load of other great talents.

I rather liked this quick intro to the characters which, almost immediately, sets the stage for the crew drama that will likely unfold in Alien: Covenant and I love how diverse this cast is. Must admit, I'm starting to think casting Franco and McBride may not be so crazy after all.

Alien: Covenant opens May 19.

Let me clear up a few things that is Walter on the ship.
It is David they meet on the planet. This is David's story.
Looking forward to the movie of course!
and how about the Scott and his clever almost Alien moment(you know the part)

Seems like a joke, but I hope Danny McBride's character dies horribly regardless.
