Marina Antunes [Celluloid 04.02.14] scifi animation action steampunk

While our review of War of the Worlds: Goliath will be posted later this week, we have a very, and I mean very, special giveaway to one special reader.

For those that may not remember, War of the Worlds: Gliath was written by David Abramowitz of Highlander fame, features the voice talents of Adrian Paul, Peter Wingfield, Adam Baldwin, Elizabeth Gracen and Jim Byrnes among others and takes place in an alternate reality Manhattan where Martian invaders use 80 feet tall steampunk-like war machines to lay waste to the planet.

One of our readers is soon going to be the proud owner of a 3D Blu-ray copy of the movie along with an artbook signed by director/producer Joe Pearson and writer/producer David Abramowitz.

It's a very spiffy prize pack and entering for a chance to win is as easy as the click of a few buttons. You simply have to be following us on Facebook and like this post. Easy right?

Entries will be taken until Wednesday, April 9 at which point a winner will be randomly drawn from all entries and contacted via Facebook so be sure you keep an eye out on our Facebook page for the announcement of the winner!

As a little bonus, take a peek at some samples of the artbook below.

Contest open to US residents only.

My command of the English language was much improved by my reading of H.G. Wells' novel at an early age. I have been eagerly awaiting the release of this film since you first mentioned it seemingly eons ago.

Is the artbook available for sale?

Not at this time. The director is considering using Kickstarter to fund the book. Stay tuned to their Facebook page for further updates:
