scifi horror 3-d Reminiscent of the 1970s cult favorite Phase IV (trailer below), this adaptation of Bernard Werber's famous novel will be directed by Kim Moon-saeng with a budget of $25 million. It will also be in 3D.
The film is set in a near future. A man working in an underground laboratory learns to speak with ants using a pheromone translator. The ants tell him the story of Princess Ant 56 and her battle to found an ant empire.
The poster is from an earlier film with the same name that has nothing to do with the book. It's fitting.
